OBRAMS (Old Bridge Rimfire Action Match Shooters ) holds monthly outdoor Action Rimfire Matches in New Jersey at the Old Bridge Outdoor Range. The Matches are held on the third Saturday of each month between April and November.See below for additional information concerning time.
We begin to build the Stages at 7:30 A.M
New shooters should arrive by 8:30 A.M.
Registration opens at 9:00 A.M
Match begins at 10:00 A.M.
Rules
All current USPSA Rules will be applicable with the exceptions of holster requirements for pistols and Power Factor levels for firearms. Starting position for ALL firearms will be from the "Low-Ready". Holster will not be used for Pistols.
Cost
Non-Members of the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club will pay $20.00 per Match.
Firearms
Only safe and modern .22LR Rifles and Pistols will be used during the event(s). Magazine capacity for all firearms will be limited to 10 Rounds to provide a “Level Playing Field” for all.
Divisions
Rifle w/Optics -A Rimfire Rifle with a Single Optics. The Optics can be a Red-Dot or a Scope of any Magnification.
Rifle w/Iron Sights -A Rimfire Rifle with Iron Sight only. No Optics of any kind will be permitted.
Pistol w/Optics -A Rimfire Pistol with Optics. The Optics can be a Red-Dot or a Scope of any Magnification.
Pistol w/Iron Sights -A Rimfire Pistol with Iron Sights only. No Optics of any kind will be permitted.
Revolver w/Iron Sights -A Rimfire Revolverl with Iron Sights only. No Optics of any kind will be permitted. Six shots max.
Revolver w/Optics -A Rimfire Pistol with with Optics. Ten shots max

We will be using the safety measures and rules currently used by OBCATS during their USPSA Matches.
The Cold Range Concept
Range Officers at every Course of Fire
Safe Tables for the handling of Firearms when NOT under the supervision of a Range Officer
The “180 Degree Rule"
Safety/ Indoctrination Classes for new Shooters
Shooters new to Action Shooting will be asked to arrive at 8:00 A.M. so they can demonstrate proficiency with their Firearms and be given a Safety Tutorial prior to competing.
Minimum age for participation is 14
